We are the consumer we have a voice the oil companies are raping us in the price of fuel world wide [if we do not buy they do not profit] .I say we do not buy from say any MOBIL or EXXON affiliated stations for the next 6 months world wide.then move on to the next smaller company ,and the next and so on . I think it is the only way to send a message to these corporations we wont take this laying down anymore !!!!!!!! There is strength in numbers but it has to happen word wide not just in one place but everywhere .They are billion dollar companies and for them to listen we have to hit their profit margin . If they lose money on a grand scale fuel costs will fall over time (not overnight) they profit from us,we got them to where they are we buy their products they survive because of us as a whole. What say you for the benefit of all and not just the one .We the people can stand and be a reconning force.a list of affiliated station can be found on line it’s out there for whatever station sells an oil companies products.the [ FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT ] provides it’s availability to all consumers .do a little research on your own about oil to gas go to www.ask .com and see for yourselves .It is not that expensive to make fuel .But information is a key to public response .Tell me why refineries here are running below production levels ? . As fuel costs rise the cost of transporting goods to market rise with it .That cost goes into what we buy a farmer,clothier,transport company all have to charge for rendered product and services .Bit if this goes on consumers will have to sacrifice needs great and small to survive . An oil company will not go bankrupt they listen to the consumer millions not the individule .Cost can come down with some rethinking and they can still make money . And no one loses unless we do nothing .as for drilling off shore and in ALASKA it is about environmental impact in a given region . and FOREIGN OIL costs would drop if enough countries would put oil on the market (again a suppressed market) some countries base their economy on the export of oil. what do you supose would happen to them if we didn’t buy those barrel’s of crude ? .WOW I guess I opened the proverbial can of worms .
